A Tribute to a Friend

A beautiful girl was born.  She was happy-go-lucky, always smiling and full of energy.  Her humor and wit could carry her with ease through any conversation, even difficult ones.  Her life journey provided her a super close, loving family, a beautiful daughter  (with her same gorgeous smile), and the love of her life, along with a second daughter and a very handsome little son.

And her journey ended to quickly.

Life is filled with ups and downs.  We float in and out of each other's lives sometimes, always assuming there is time. Time to reconnect.  Time to apologize.  Time to hug and love again.

And sometimes, there isn't enough time.

Today, I pray that while this beautiful woman has left our world to join the others before her friends and family find comfort in knowing she is a light that is brighter now than ever, a light that will forever shine on those lives she touched.

And I pray my momma wraps my arms around her and loves her for the rest of eternity until her family can join her again.

Rest in peace, friend.  You will be missed by all but memories will carry them through the rest of their journey.  I am proud to have known you and called you my friend and the mother of my beautiful niece.
